If you’re a family moving to Wayne County, you need to contact the Wayne County Board of Education at 427-1000 for information about registering your child at Odum Elementary. The Board of Education office is open year-round. Parents or guardians who wish to enroll their child at Odum Elementary must provide proof of residency, and the records must include the name and physical address. Students in grades one through five who are new will be required to complete eye, ear, and dental exams and bring a state-issued form. Parents or guardians need to also provide proof of immunizations and submit a social security number or sign a waiver form.
Pre-K students at Odum must be four years old on or before September 1. If your child has a birthdate in either June, July or August, you may wait and enroll them at the age of five. Kindergarten students must be five years old. Students in first grade must be six years old on or before September 1.
